Day 9 Signature Style
I strive for perfection in everything I do. Whether that is being stellar at customer service, making sure I create quality, long-lasting items, or just being a fun online presence to connect one-on-one with you all.
At first I created just to create. I didn’t have a game plan, I just wanted to make things, mostly inspired by my travels, and hoped they would connect with people. I created a ‘travel-tree’ inspired brand but, in person it was just a bunch of cute ornaments at a craft show. Now, several years in, I’ve learned a lot about myself and have finally found a direction that I enjoy even more than I could imagine.
I think in the early years my signature style was the unique ‘cuteness’ of my ornaments. Once people started buying them on Etsy and leaving reviews about how they were a perfect reminder of their trips I attained the ‘Travel Tree’ style I was aiming for. But recently I haven’t traveled as much and have not been as inspired to create this type of ornament. That was until I started creating cryptids. I’ve found a renewed creative spark and am enjoying introducing my ornaments to a whole new audience.
The beauty of life is that you can reinvent yourself over and over. Maybe that’s my signature style, just being the best I can be, doing what I love.
